ls-460 mud guards
Has anyone purchased the aftermarket (brookstone) mud guards being sold on ebay? i'd like some feedback on their form, fit, and function before I buy them. They run about $30,with shipping. A huge reduction from the oem ones being sold on the same site tx

I have never seen an LS with mud flaps. Not sure if that would look good or bad. I am assuming they are painted body color. Or are they black?? eww

Several websites state that the mud flaps are standard equipment in many countries . I've seen pictures, but never personally seen them on a car. I think they come matched to the color of the car.

I have installed the Mud Guards on my 2013 LS AWD, and I got them from Japan. These Mud Guards are Original Toyota/Lexus products. It is $600 plus $70 for shipping, pricy but I felt it is worth it, as I live in the snow region and sand and gravels does get on the bottom fenders and some time would chipped them.

They are easy to install and fit perfectly and they will match the paint code of your car. Comes with interactions and screws and clips as a kit.
Take up to 2 weeks for delivery.
Hope this will help you, I was also thinking about the black plastic mud flaps that you can buy online and not Toyota/Lexus product for $30-$40, but they will not fit right and looks cheap.

Those look great, as if that's how the car came from the factory!

If Sewell Lexus offered the mud guards and installed them I would consider having it done. The ones in the photo looks good.

Update
As of 6/19/2015 The genuine Lexus flaps are currently available on Ebay. They are already painted and cost $378 + $52 shipping from Japan. Possible US customs fee as well per Ebay seller. Quite a bit less than when this thread first started!! As best I can tell the customs fees are two, 8% and 5% is 30.24 + 18.90 = 49.14 total. Has anyone tried the black molded rubber ones for $39 on Ebay? They look like the same design as the super sharp looking painted OEMs.
