Thinking of an 07 or an 08 LS460 ... looking for feedback

Ascari, how goes the hunt? I am in the same position; looking to buy a 2008 460/460L for 30k as well. Have you found that the dealers are working with you to achieve this number for a sub 60k mile car? I have checked the MMR for the DC area and found that the 460L is going for around 27k, comparable to CJITTY's post. Rough sales are at 23k. Just interested in your experience, so I have something to go on when the time comes. My car buying experience is very limited, so any insight would be great. Thanks.

Ryan, I've kept an eye on the available LSs but haven't been to serious about it yet as I'm still in the process of trying to sell the F. However, I think that when time comes, I will end up concentrating on getting an 09 version as this will allow me to get an AWD that will probably come in handy in the winner time here in Chicago.

09 will have too many miles for my budget, and AWD does not handle suspension mods well...at least my 06GS did not. Staying away from that debacle again. I am aware of the potential issues with the 08LS, but it seems the best choice for a vehicle that will give me what I am looking for long term. As long as I monitor the problem areas, I can get them fixed under warranty before 100k. I could pick up a 09-10 GS, but I want something larger that will be more conducive to family life. The GS is just not as spacious as I would like.
I am not certain if it was due to the altered suspension, or just the design for the GS, but the AWD system was not all that great in the snow for me. I am comfortable driving in the snow, but for a car that weighs 3600lbs and had AWD equipped, it could get squirely at times. In most instances I was not driving like an idiot....in most instances... lol. Thanks for the feedback guys.
