Costco Battery replacement
Has anyone replaced their LS460 battery with a Costco one? Looking to buy from them since their exchanges are easy to due.
From what I gather, our battery are group 24- but Costco is not listing one to replace. They do have a group 24 with 700 cold cranking power and the Positive on the Left side.
Can this be a good replacement or can anyone recommend a brand to replace with for a 2008 LS460L?

I always got Diehard Gold batteries for my cars. About 2 years ago I got a Costco battery for my Q45a because it was cheaper and I didn't expect to keep the car too much longer (actually its gone now and I have to update my signature). Anyway, the battery died in less than a year. Tried recharging it and it wouldn't hold a charge. I returned it to Costco and got an easy no hassle refund. I went back to Diehard, who BTW consistently get top ratings for Consumer Reports.
I'm sure I just got a bad battery from Costco and it is not the norm, but sometimes you just have to have a bad experience once to stay away from a product or service.

I went DieHard as well I can check the size for you I forgot off the top of my head I think it was 27 but it has the most RC of any battery even the optima's, which was important for me as I never seen below 40 degrees so CCA wasnt a big of an issue. I dont think you would either in socal

cant believe this...Costco only carries group 24 certain states and not in S. Cali.
Im looking into the DieHard Gold but they only carry group 27 (bigger battery) for our cars. Im concerned that it will not fit properly. Hopefully someone can chime in that has a Sears battery in their car.

EverStart from Walmart
EverStart from Walmart has worked well for me! It's been in my 07 now for 3 years plus and 50k miles. As I recall, when I bought it, Consumer Report ranked highly.
