Default '08 doesn't "LEAP" anymore...

Over the last few months my '08 LS460, with 50,000 miles, doesn't 'leap' anymore when stabbing the gas pedal from a stop. It acts like I have the 'SNOW' switch engaged...but I don't.

Any ideas? Haven't taken it to the dealer yet, just wanted to hear from y'all in case there might be anything he doesn't care to pass along or doesn't know himself.

Thanks

If it's really noticeable I guess there are a couple things to check. I think on the '08's the spark plug change interval is 60K, you may have a fouled plug(s). I assume you are still using premium gas, but you might try changing stations/brands. Are your engine air filters clean? Lack of adequate air intake can hurt performance..

Beyond that, you probably need the dealer to read the codes and see if something is off with the ECU or the sensors.

might be in granny mode. do you always stab it??? might need to get it reflashed or disconnect the battery and drive it aggressive.
