That is why I chose a Momo leather and metal ****...thanks for heads up...hahaha!!!!

Says it's NOT compatable with the LS 460, but I don't see why not.

If it fits one LS, it fits them all and should match the walnut cherry interior. I ordered mine over a week ago (and I even took measurements prior to ordering, just for the extra reassurance). Go for it!

The only thing I'm bummed out about is the shipping time and that I can't precisely track the package (even though I do have a tracking number).

Default Nice visit to the post office...

Much to my surprise, look what I got! $8 shipping from Taiwan in less than two weeks!

I cleaned it up nicely after installation and thought I'd take a little photo. I also made sure to include the "4 buttons" in case CJITTY is browsing.

Heads-up... It looks like the bore on the shift **** may be drilled too deep, as properly tightening the **** pushed it almost into the shift gate (normally there's a gap of over 1/2"). I am not sure if this is the case with all these shift *****, since they're aftermarket, or just with mine.

In any case, it would've worked just fine, but I couldn't stand the idea of leaving it like that. That was when I remembered my little roll of teflon tape in the basement. After two applications on the shifter - using a total of about one foot, the shift **** is now tight enough at more or less the proper height.

Thank you again, Crocetti, for the suggestion!

Can't you do a bit of measuring and figure out the length of a plug (maybe a custom cut length of undersized bolt thread) that you would drop into the threaded hole in the ****? Then just screw the **** on and when the threaded rod hits the plug, you SHOULD be seated at exactly the factory height. Looks like you wouldn't have to worry about the plug popping through the top of the **** since you've got structural metal there (I'm just guessing about this from the pictures). I'm only suggesting this method in case the lowered height bothers you. I know I used to rest my hand on the **** all the time and would definitely notice a change of height. Best of luck.

Thank you. Actually, that was my plan A! As I thought of what I had in the house that I could use for a plug, plan B - using Teflon tape on the threads - occurred to me. Two tries is all it took, like I said.
