Just curious, after you dropped it 1.5", i'm assuming you got an alignment? When you start to play with different height levels, (either + or -) & decide to go back to the setting of a 1.5" drop, does your alignment go back within the specs of what the alignment shop had set it to?

Since the OEM air suspension components were designed for the stock height and higher, is there any concern that lowering the ride height below stock may increase wear and shorten the life of these components (mainly the air bags)?

No I didn't get an alignment and definitely have no plans to do so either. My previous LS never got aligned after my controller and it tracked just fine up an inch or down 2". The LSs with factory air actually lower at highway speeds automatically so the system is constantly being adjusted and again I never had an issue with it before too so I'm not concerned about increased wear and shortened life of components.

They're both 600hLs, both Obsidian/Black. the 08 was a 1 owner that we sold new, it had some issues but we sold it cheaply. It came in along with an 09 LX towards a new LX. The 2013 I bought off of Dealer Direct off lease out of Atlanta. I saw it and jumped on it.

Bought 3 more LSs today... You may recall that I do this for a living because I get to play with cool cars

That's our dealer plate.. I'm a used car manager at a Lexus store. I did drive the 08 for a day and the 13 over the weekend (My best friends kids love the toys in the back of loaded up 460Ls).

It did sell... to a nice Doctor from PA. Who traded in the 16 WRX STi of all things!

Thanks, I love my 2014 UL. With the 2013 CPO UL, the prospect of acquiring a vehicle with unlimited mileage warranty thru 2027 was just too tempting to pass up. Given the LS's reliability, maybe this is not such a big deal but it was still enticing to consider a switch

Not for what it would have cost you though... bad financial move. And when a used car manager says not to do it, trust me

Keep the 14, plus you can retrofit remote start to a 14 if I do recall!

BTW, I have remote start on my vehicle, installed by the dealer for the first owner . Will put it to good use in a few months!
