Default Ls460L wrapped matted black????

Hello all,
I'm thinking about getting my entire 460 wrapped in matted black. My car is already black ,I'm picturing it in my head that it would look nice. I need opinions to do or not to do, pros and cons before I pull the trigger on this mod. Thanks in advance

I think it would look good if you have wheels and stuff like that done to your car. If it's factory, don't do it. It would not look good.

My car is lightly modded with wheels(planning to buy new wheels), lowered, and full lip kit.

Pics? ^^^^^ IMO if you're going to do a wrap might as well do something a little out there, especially other than matte black, but that's just me. There are so many different things you can do with a wrap.

Lol, you will find so many examples through google. I personally want to either do matte army green, or maybe matte white to keep it simple. Any picture, logo, or whatever pattern you want can be made.

I've been quoted from $2000 for basic 3m materials, to $5000 for custom prints here in Florida. Some people will even do it cheaper that 2 grand.

I don't know about you but 2k for a wrap that's only good for 2 years or so... Not a great mod as far as money is concerned. A wrap doesn't last forever. We have a suburban fully wrapped and 5 years later it looks like crap. It was done with 3m UV protected vinyl. And once it goes to looking like crap its probably at the point that it's hard to remove like our truck. I personally have my roof wrapped but I did it myself and that cost me less than $100 for materials.

If youre serious about going matte black, I'd look into plasti-dipping it. I have a buddy that just got his M5 done in matte black and it looks real good. The shop did it for 800 but you can get a kit and do it yourself for around 400. He plans on going matte white at the start of the year just to keep it different. His car was originally blue. I'd thought about going matte black as well and thats how we came across this new thing.

I was thinking about doing my car white but then my door jams would be black so I decided on matted black. I did my grill with plasti dip and it turned out pretty nice, I don't what the process involve if I do my car in plasti dip.
