The window retrofit of the '07s and a few early '08s, including my '07, did not provide any distinguishable improvement to the cars that had the trim defect. The wind noise was a common problem in the '08 models that came with the Lamisafe windows. Thousands of cars were bought-back, including '08 models that were factory equipped with Lamisafe windows, under the states Lemon Laws, because of the wind noise problem. Many of the '07 owners that had the OEM windows and no trim defect were very satisfied with their cars regarding wind noise.

What specifically is done on this TSIB?

Does it apply only to cars still under warranty?

I'll be doing the jmcraney fix of the triangle piece, but am wondering if there are other fixes that Lexus will pay for.
