Default 07 LS460L installed the prestigious society NAV bypass...

(thanks NAT) and it works GREAT. First honor of the DVD played on the NAV screen was the original Fast and Furious (classic). Now i wanna make a dvd of my favorite videos to play while im driving slow down the las vegas strip. Does anyone know what video format (mp4, mov...) I should download? and what dvd making software is the easiest? thanks everyone.

Nav bypass allows you to play DVD and Navigate the NAV without any restrictions. Google this "prestigious society" and you will get their website and you can read all about it. Its handy to have one, I used mine all the time.

yes, without ML it's a cd changer not dvd changer so there is no way you can play a dvd in there

It is more to override the nav system so you can use the locked out options when you are moving. Love mine, worth every penny if just for convenience.

Give DVD Flick a try.

http://www.dvdflick.net/index.php

It's open source, and the website lists the files it can convert, so if you have one of the supported types, it can create a DVD that works in DVD players (including the car).

Henry is always correct. The Prestious comes with detail instruction in English...not Japanese. lol

Check this out...the instructions tell you where to place a towel to prevent scratch and to catch loose nuts. Pretty informative!!!
