Lol @ Diesel!!! So are these dimmer because voltage is reduced for the DRL? Or are these either on or off and not impacted by the lower voltage?

they are actually really bright becuse i got the drl module 12v or whatever it is. At night they actually light up very well. i think it just looks dim in the pictures and because of the lighting outside but in person, they are bright. the leds dont flicker or anything like that. i had to do a couple mods to get the dust covers back on because the module wouldnt fit in behind the dust cover. but all worked well and its sealed so i wont have to worry about moisture getting in.

That's a unique mod, first time have seen this, love the rims also. Same question, how did you put the bulbs in? And is it glaring to other cars?

I used the kit from ijdmtoy.com that comes w the DRL module. I also had to do some drilling into the dust covers to seal it w a rubber grommet so no moisture would come in and some other stuff. Lol. I'll take picture and it will explain a lot more of what I did.. But overall. It's easy. Just time consuming.

Nice mod. I guess I know what to put on my list for next weekend.

What happens when you turn on the hi-beam? Does the LED turn off or does it stay on?

If you didn't lose high beams, I'd have done this already. Looks great, but not a sacrifice I'm willing to make.
