Okay.. Trying to determine what to do here.

I love my LS's look, comfort, and tech that comes with the car. However, I'm craving something a little more sporty and wanting a convertible (only current choice is an IS convert).

Would like to gather your thoughts. It feels like a downgrade, but I love Lexus/Toyota and don't want to steer away from the brand. And that is the only convertible available other than the "solara" which I'm not liking the appearance of that car.

Please advise and be nice.. I'm sure many of you will ask "what are you thinking" Just want some sport appeal and a convertible option. I like the IS350c look but part of me will truely miss the LS and will definitely miss the roominess of the car if I go with the ISc.

i had my ls460l for 6 months, sold it and got the m3 convertible. i couldn't be happier. not that i don't like the ls460l, i loved my car. but i wanted something more fun to drive

Why not the SC430? More in par w/ the LS than the IS, which is targeted toward spoiled kids (at least in my town) :P

Well, I like the SC430, just wish it was current w/ the tech stuff that the LS and new IS has. If it was still in production ( I think they stop making them) I would rather get that if it had the gadgets the current LS and IS has.

sc430 has been discontinued. but yes, it's definitely dated on tech. for starters you don't even have start button

Get convertible, it is cool driving top down. Unfortunately we have not so many days in California when you can drive top down, but for Texas it should be better.
Actually I came to LS from 135i convertible, but no regrets so far

2010 sc430s have the same gen6 nav as the current lexus cars (post 2010)

Picked up is350c tonight.. I would like to thank you to the LS460 forum for your support and guidance. You never know, youmight see me again when the next gen LS comes out... For now you can see me in the IS forum

That is funny.... As that was the reason i got the LS too for the kid/carseat... But i really missed a sportscar and convert, so the carseat is going in the rear seat of this IS C
