I gave up on it. Took the car in 4 times...got an unable to duplic every time.

SAME ISSUE: hesitation, rough shift from 2nd to 3rd when cold, almost like the transmission is slipping with the RPMs increasing momentarily before shifting into 3rd.....

This is the same issue desribed by BREITLING and LEXID7. Did the dealer ever fix this problem? Any other ideas?

I have the same issue. Slight flaring from second to third when cold. Dealer says normal. Shifts fine after that first time. I wrote it off as normal

It's completely normal. Want to be sure? In the morning warm up the car until the temp gauge stabilizes (takes about 10 - 15 minutes maybe if it's really cold. Drive slowly. You shouldn't notice anything unusual.
