Default Clips online?

do you have a part # or model # for the clips? Has anyone found these online and if so where? I looked at rock auto but could not find them.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/221210560681 I recently purchased these on ebay. They are identical to OEM and very inexpensive compared to dealer prices. I am cheep! The downside is that your order takes 2 to 3 weeks to arrive from China. You can find them on ebay from U.S. sellers at higher prices. By the way, these clips work perfectly also and can be re-used if you understand how to remove them.

So I started looking around and noticed I was missing a lot of the plastic clips and the ones that were on there were doing very little at holding the panels in place. The factory clips did not fit the holes as they should have, they were too small for the holes. I went to my local ACE Hardware and picked up a bunch of plastic automotive clips. They had all sorts of different kinds in different lengths and hole sizes. I found some great ones that hold all of my panels firmly in place. I picked about 10 extra ones to use as spares incase they brake or get lost. Let me know if you want me to post up a picture of the clips I purchased.
I heard someone said that Lexus will put new ones for you free if you take your car in.

Default Retainer clips

I have noticed that the battery cover has clips that you push in to release, where the other engine compartment covers have clips that you push the center in to lock.

Does anyone have the part number for each style of clip, so that I can order some?

Thank you,

Ray, you can find the part numbers in this tread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...ning-clip.html I believe that you will find that each of the clips work the same if you have factory clips. If you push the center in far enough, the clip will release.

Tried those. But they do not seem anything like the oem type. You cant push down on the center to remove without a tool. But still good for the price.

Once again a quick search "Hint, Hint" brought up this.. I have used it many times and it works great on plastic.

I think those are the ones I just got in. The problem with any of the Ebay ones are they don't push down to release. Tried 3 different ones on Ebay.

I used a product like that before, back in the days I had two 735i's and changed all the plastic tan color interior pieces to all black, came out pretty good. Far as the 460 for a color change, I'd only consider dyeing the carpet which is grey to black using a professional product, but for now I'll try to clean all the time, ugh..

At a cost of $0.24 cents each I can afford to replace a few each time

Which by the way had me thinking when I saw this on e bay last night.
If they cost us $0.24 cents each how much could Lexus pay for a few million at a time?
Makes you wonder!!!
