RX Roof Rails on LS 460?
I have a 2007 LS 460 and want to add roof rails. Lexus does not make roof rails for the LS. Rather than Thule or Yakima, I would like to add the silver roof rails from the 2010-11 RX 350 or 400. Does anyone know if their contour will fit on an LS 460? I know the RX have brackets into which the rails screw which the LS does not, but this could be added if they rail contour would fit the roof line of the LS 460. Has anyone tried this?

I'm trying to picture this, taking the roof rack from my sienna and adding it on my LS Besides being horrifically ugly, it's not possible without having to drill into the roof.

Thanks for all the useless replies. My son is handicapped and I need the bike rack to carry his bike and mine. They won't fit in the trunk. I am more concerned about being able to bike with my son than what others think about a stupid car.
Seriously, do you all really worship your cars? There is more to life than a car. Part of the reason I am adding a bike rack so people won't presume I am a rim-polishing geek more worried about his car than his life.

I'd suggest you look into getting a trailer hitch installed then look into any of the trailer hitch bike racks:

Some of the bike shops might have other alternatives.

Definitely invest into a hitch or bike rack(trunk rack) of some sort. I'm sure they build some type of device to handle your son's bike. I don't think a rack from an RX would fit on there.
