the one in the picture has 75k miles on it and I can get it from a lexus dealer with a 12mo bumper to bumper warrantee for 33k in San Jose CA area where any car tends to run about 5k higher than other parts of the country.

What do you think of the Wheels? I can't decide if I like them or not.

I just can't find a CPO one that is less than the high 30s

When I posted this in the LS 430 forum, someone mentioned that having the valve springs and timing chain pulley replaced was a bad thing. The lexus service record is good though (SEE IT BELOW).

How do you convince a Lexus dealer to let an independent mechanic look at the car?

I personally think that mileage is too high! Before I bought my 2007 LS460L in July I shopped around and the best deal I found for a SWB was & $33,500 that only had 52K miles on it. But it was not at a Lexus Dealership so I walked away. If your buying from a Lexus dealership, u can ask to purchase a longer warranty plan as well. I would look around some more before I jumped on this one! Not too many people buying cars with that many miles.

Jgcec now that i see more pictures i would pass on this LS 460.

As i stated before one of the items i need to have on my Lexus is Mark Levinson and this vehicle doesnt have that option.

Again thats my opinion based on owning 4 Lexus vehicles with 3 of them being an LS. To you the stereo might not matter much.

It is overpriced for that many miles. The miles do not make much sense. Someone drove it 75k miles in 1.6 years??? Was it a taxi or what?? That is absolutely insane. Then it sat for for over 2.5 years?

Pass. You can do much better for not that much more money. If you can't up your budget then look at a 430.
