Looks like a typical class action scam where the attorneys get millions and consumer gets a $10 coupon at the local bait shop.

I tossed mine. It says if you dont respond then you will remain in the law suit. I agree that I get these from time to time and nothing ever comes from it. Not even a $10 coupon

if you read the card closely there are several provisions that could be very beneficial,including extended warranties for the control module,throttle body.,and other components.in addition,new software will be available to override the acceleration signal when the brakes are appled..i'd keep the card for future reference.

if the settlement is approved,i believe that affected car owners will receive further correspondence from toyota.keep them with your warranty file as the settlement extends the warranty on several expensive components.more importantly,it should provide further directions on having the software updated to include the brake override feature.in summary,don't just trash the letters.
