Default Exhaust solutions...

I am looking to give my 460 a little more grumble. I know TOM'S makes an exhaust, however, it will not work with the stock rear bumper. Wald also has an exhaust but I am not sure on the cost. Feel free to try and talk me out of this either with the cost issue or the issue of the LS not really being "that type of car", but if anyone has any suggestions I am all ears.

There's a prototype exhaust for the LS, installed in one of the cars of the owner of VIP auto salon but I'm not sure if they were able to produce it here's the link:

If you just have money burning a hole in your pocket and you must change the exhaust (BTW, this is a LUXURY sedan, not sports car), put something simple on. You want something that you can easily remove and sell on its own, because chances are it will add zero value to the car and may actually scare away buyers when you do sell the car in the future.

Someone took my "feel free to talk me out of it" clause quite seriously, kudos.

The info that I have is that, the prototype exhaust is develop
by JoeZ ( CL member ) price wise no info yet and also one of my concern is the exhaust DB level compared to the JoeZ PTS exhaust for the ISF.

Today I heard the exhaust note of the Maserati Quattrotorpe it's not loud but it has a nice exhaust sound, would this be considered as a luxury sport sedan? With due respect can I compare the LS 460 since both are 4 dr and V8 engine?

i would make sure that the sound doesn't intrude into the cabin too much.. get one of those exhaust that make a noise above 3500 rpm.. since this car rarely sees that high of a rev..
