Grey or black leather with Smoky Granite '10 LS460?
Local dealer is finding me a 2010 LS460, smoky granite. Trying to decide between grey or black leather interior and wondering what other people's experience is. Will occasionally have baby on board so won't always be 100% neat - does the black interior show every white spec? Is either one tough or easy to clean?
Any other people love or hate their black or grey interiors? Love to hear people's thoughts/opinions. The critical opinion (wife) could go with either and I'm struggling a bit.
Thanks in advance

I would never buy another car with a light interior. I will only buy black interiors now. They hide stains the best, even spilled grape juice! Black is beautiful, too, and doesn't show dirt on the carpets like beige and grey do. Black never looks dingy like these other light colors do over time. Congrats!

Yes, black will show lint, dust, dandruff, dead skin, and salt, but it's better than showing permanent stains.
I only buy black leather interiors, it is a car after all...

I've always had black cars with grey interiors but with the '10 Sport the only option was black leather. I really wanted the Sport, so I reluctantly said o.k. After having the car for 5 months, I can honestly say that I'm much happier with the black than the grey. As others have said, it hides stains much better but I also think that it looks better as well. Also, having the ventilated seats negates the issue of hot seats from the Atlanta heat.

The grey leather + dark grey maple wood trim looks 1000 times better than the black interior !!
Plus, the black vinyl dash looks a little cheap, but somehow, it's better in grey, it's true, look carefully.(of course it won't be a problem if it's 600hL with full leather dash)

I've gotta side with the minority here. I have never cared for black interiors personally. The heat issue is a big factor, ventilated seats or not, it's just too freakin hot when you get in on a sunny day. I still have my ecru 430 with the 'grey' wood and I really love the look of that stuff. I was told the 460 I was buying was alabaster with the darker wood. I was pleasantly surprised to find out it was actually the light grey.

I honestly have to say I like the grey better then black interior but on the flip side stains show like crazy on grey....i have a few stains in my car and it bothers me quite a bit..Im in the minority as well...black after while starts looking like crap ...the grey really stands out in my opinion.
