Default Help me on my 2010 ls sport edition

Hey all.

I just bought a new 2010 ls460 sport edition. I am wanting to do forgiato wheels. My question is im not going to modify the suspension at all, Im thinking 22x9 front and 22x10.5 rear. What size tires should I use. I was thinking 255/30/22 front and 295/25/22 rear. Will these rub??????. If so what do you all recommend I use instead. Thanks will get some pics up once its complete.

The car is going to ride horrible with 22's. This isn't a pimp mobile. You paid extra for the sport package with special wheels, keep them.

I think 22s look great on the long wheel base (LWB). I think the short wheel base (SWB) would look better with 20s or 21s max.

Welcome and good luck.

I had 20 inch rims on my gs but soon found out they dont fit on the LS. I may consider 21 inch but dont know yet.

Make sure you get the right bolt pattern. The LS has a 5x120 bolt pattern, similar to what the European cars use. Wheels from your GS will not transfer over unfortunately.

horrible? not sure if i agree. it's harsher than stock i can see. but my ls460l on 22s and air suspension lowered, still rode better than a lot of cars stock (power of air suspension)

I like the way it comes with the stock wheels. The ride will be perfect if you keep it as is but, it's your ride. If you feel rims over 20" will make you happy when driving ,do you!! Congrats on the new car as well sir!!! L.G.N.M

To say that the the ride will be horrible in rubbish. Besides it is interesting to see non LS460 owners commenting when they dont even have the car? I have 22x9 and 22x10.5 on my LS and it looks and rides great! Yes I lost some of the floaty ride but then again in "my opinion" the car handles better - couple that with the Tanabe suspension and you have a great handling LS.

In my opinion your sport LS will look really HOT with some 22's

Here is a picture of mine from a recent meet..

LS460 on 22's is the best choice and not ruin the ride. Your tires will not rub but offset is the key. Extreme is this one:

Love the comment completly agree. I have always had rims on my cars and love the look and it dont change the ride all that much in my opinion. What size tires are you running on the front and back

it highly depends on offsets. i had similar setup and since i had aggressive offsets especially the rear, a lot of work had to be fun otherwise even at stock height it rubbed

Zero modifications here. I custom ordered the wheels from Zone thanks to senor wheel guru Bob and he did the rest
