Default Copying MP3 files to HDD: Possible?

Q1) I have tons of audio content in MP3 format (mostly audiobooks), and would like to copy them to the hdd on my LS460. Is it possible?
The iPod isn't the most practical option here for the way it works with the LS.

Q2) Some of my audio CD's can't be copied to the hdd. When I insert the CD, the REC button is grayed out. What could be the problem?

Q3) Is there any hidden menus or options that I could play with? I'm pretty sure that the car's computer system is capable of doing much more than what I'm typically dealing with, but I'm not sure if the capability can be somehow utilized.

Thanks guys!

Regarding your Q2, is it a duplicate copy?
I know there are some restrictions related to copyright protection.

No it isn't a duplicate copy. It's an audio CD that I burnt myself, and it doesn't have any info (titles, artist, ...etc) and that could be the reason.

Thanks Joseph!

No, it does not need titles. Put the CD into your computer and look at the file name (you may need to go to "Properties"). It needs to end with ".cda" .

yeah, make sure it's with .cda. i have a feeling you burned a mp3 cd where it's just considered as a data disc
