How many miles did you get when you had to buy new brakes and tires? I'm at 20k miles and everything looks good to me.

Brakes are fine at 21K, but I had to replace my tires at 20K. I do a lot of city driving.

Brakes seem fine at 22k, but the OEM Dunlop Sport Maxx tires were going weird at 15k and Lexus replaced them with Michelins.

Even aside from the funky wear pattern, I would say the Dunlops were 75% gone anyway, and I doubt I would have gotten more than 19-20k out of them.

Did I mention that the Dunlops sucked?

My tires have 20k on them and they look a little weak so to say. I don't drive fast or crazy but wanted at least 35k out of these tires.

At 14,500 my brakes are pristine, but I've had my shoes re-soled every 1000 miles!

Seriously though, I was just contemplating rotating my tires with the spare. Has anyone been doing this?
