Alright thanks for your input! I really like the CLS and the new E550 Coupe/Cabriolet.
But Mercedes reliability is giving me a scare.

I just bought a 2007 LS460 with 33K miles...paid around $34K certified from the dealer with all records, with every option....The car drives great......its a true pleasure......I had a Benz S500 and it was more in the shop then i drove it.....Had a 2004 LS430 before this..I had to ever do was change to oil....
You could probably get one with a bit higher mileage for close to $30K...

Wouldn't want anything else. Completely satisfied. Mine has no problems, but even if it did, it would be easier and cheaper to fix. But the frequency of repair is almost nothing, compared to any of the German or European cars.

I love my LS. Although its no perfect car it has to be better than most in its class. The other day I was thinking about trading the LS460 for a 7 series then I started thinking about the increase in visits to the dealership and I quickly changed my mind. I have had the wind noise issue only.
