Default AC Settings Question

How can I make my AC unit by default use both the top and bottom vents? I prefer it this way and by default it only uses the top vents.

don't put it on Auto, choose up & down, and when u turn it on don't push the AUto and it will remain UP & DOWN, thats what i do, as for back, if u don't want it to reset every time u turn it on, keep 4-zone always ON.

So you are telling me what I want to do is impossible when using "Auto?" I was hoping I could change that setting.

well there is a reason why it's "auto", coz' it will automatically select what's needed to achieve the temperature. otherwise just take out the auto and set it how you want
