Why did you return your PS unit? Isn't this PS unit already a nav hack???

There are several accounts now of successful installs on 7.1 - BUT, they're mostly cars that came with 7.1 installed (and are mostly '08's).

I think the question is whether an '07 that came with an earlier version, and was later upgraded to 7.1, will work okay with the PS unit.

As for the override unit being a hack, it is. But an operating system hack that would allow full and complete functionality would be far preferable.

Mike is correct. It is confirmed that the override unit works with vehicles (LS, IS) equipped with 7.1 since day 1. We ship an unit out today to TX for a test vehicle that is 2007 LS upgraded to 7.1. Hopefully we will have the result by the end of this month.

Thanks.
