I love it. How sweet this ride would be with a small drop...

Thanks for posting the pics Derrick! The wheels are great. I'm considering a small drop, but will drive it a while before I decide. It looks great as it is, but slightly lower will make it perfect.

For those that have lowered the LS, how does it impact the ride quality? I lost a bit with the new rims and performance tires; however, this was expected. Actually, what it lost in ride quality is more than countered by the dramatic improvement in handling and road feel. Also, body roll when cornering has been greatly reduced.

you have swb, springs is the only option, and tanabe is still working on it as far as i know.

when you lower it you will suffer a bit on the ride. i wouldn't expect much though, unless you drop it by a lot

If Tanabe makes the NF210 spring for the LS, the ride will not suffer one bit. Not unless I'm crazy and so used to lowered cars I can no longer tell the difference.

Sorry but the LS needs at least 21's.

Well, there's a post from the Tanabe rep in the vendor section...ask him about it.

why don't you become the test vehicle for them. they asked for a car here but i didn't hear anything afterwards

reg, it all depends on how much the springs lower the car. no matter how much it lowers, the spring rate is still very likely going to be stiffer, and the shocks (i assume stock, or aftermarket which is usually stiffer) as well. the change in overall ride could be very very close, but i still expect some degrade.

i believe they had a car lined up...this was about a month ago. either way, im not really down to be the test car anyway. this car is my daily, so leaving it there for a couple of days would become a sort of hassle. at that time, i just thought they would be in development for a month and production would probably come out towards the end of the year. its just that when reggie said "if" i thought things might have changed. hopefully they still go forward with it, cuz damn, its gonna cost a pretty dollar for airrunner or custom coilovers.
