If the other info going around CL is right, we'll only be able to get a rear seat entertainment system on the 4 passenger cars? I hope that's wrong. The lack of a RES is one of the few flaws on the current LS430, and it would be a shame if it weren't available on the swb LS460. Fer chrissake, even my Chrysler 300 SRT-8 has a res!

Sorry to disappoint you but yes it's true, for the 2007 model year only the 4-seaters will have the RSES. I think this is a major oversight, IMO the LS should have the goodies at more levels than just special order.

By contrast, the Euro and Japan market LS 460 SWB will have them:

Yes, they should make the RSES available at least for the LS460L with 5-seat configuration in N.America, it's a bad decision to package it only with the Executive 4-seat Package

I have no idea, I know I got a flyer from my local dealership for the same ones so it seems the dealerships are familiar with these.

careful....if i'm not mistaken, they are electronically controlled, so don't know if you would have to watch out for being able to interface it correctly....i'm actually getting another set of headrest to try out with the dvd/headrest option....will let you guys know later on when complete.....

i think it might not be that complicated. from reading another thread, the power headrest seems to be inside the seat (coz' you can still completely take out the headrest (ex to install the sheep skin). if so, then there isn't anything inside the headrest

unless you have the 600hl launch edition with the advance pre-collision system of course
