The LS turned out to be a very nice car. In that ultra luxury segment I don't think there is any match right now. The lines on the car still has that edgy L-Finess look, but seem to be much smoother on the LS unlike the bulkier and edgier looking IS. I think this is the best so called L-Finess design yet.

Cool Great Find

Thanx, Thorough preview.....I can't say it enough. I can not wait. This car is amazing. Much respect for Lexus as they have outdone BMW, MB and Audi and their lovely A8. It's not even close. That will be my next sedan.

Thanks. Gotta love those pics in 1600x1200 (one of which has become my new wallpaper).

haha you guys are funny. why bother with all the low resolution pics when flipside posted the FULL resolutions that's higher than most monitors out there, the day after the launch of the 600hl?!

Problem is, I can only see the grill of the LS on my screen with some of those pics. ( Mine is 1280 x 1024 )

Aww man that's all? It's time to upgrade. I'm running 1680x1050 and it's still not large enough for me.

Mine will resize to fit the screen automatically when you just look at the pics like a photo album, but not for a desktop.
As a desk top, mine will resize to fit screen only when stretched, which means the image is distorted. If you use center or tile, you can either only see one corner of the image or only the center part (ie, only the grill & the headlights in this case) with ultra hi-res images like these.

oh..... just use photoshop or some other software to crop the image to the right aspect ratio by throwing out some of the background scene man that's how i make my 1600x1200 sc430 shot onto my 24" widescreen lcd at work

I know how to resize & crop , just too lazy to do it, I like those wallpaper sites that will give you different choices in resolution like the one posted above.

While I greatly appreciate flipside909's effort, his FULL resolution pics are of much poorer quality and smaller file sizes (therefore less image data) than those 1600x1200 pics hosted on allcarwallpapers.com. Check them side by side or back to back, and you'll see what I'm talking about. (But still, hey, thanks for sharing, flipside909!)

While I didn't checked the file sizes, but they do seem less sharp to me just by looking at them. Putting in the CL logo & re-saving may have deterioted the image quality a little. They have the allcarwallpapers logo in their's too, but I think it also depends on which program you use to edit the photo's.
