I totally agree that cracked LCA bushings are par for the course for most if not all LS430s and do not affect performance unless extensively deteriorated and is causing noise and/or play. Mine have been cracked since purchase 7 years ago and car's front end is tight and steers straight. Don't let the dealerships scare you into this expensive repair unnecessarily.

Sadly I am 5 hours from Santa Fe, near Lubbock Texas. Santa Fe is a ski town so there is snow. most of the time they think 18 inch wheels makes it sport, but most cars with 18 inch wheels are NOT sport suspension. and it would take about 4 days to drive back to NY. good luck with your search. I just got my title from the bank so I am not ready to trade my '05 premium. not sure I would like sport suspension anyway. I love my 17 inch chrome wheels. they make the brown car look great.

I think I saw that Sante Fe car in my travels on cars.com, it had the badges and was moonlight...

Man I have a project in Lubbock and it's like pulling teeth trying to get any vendor to do any work. The person out there said don't worry it's not you, nothing happens very quickly around here. I said is there any deadline, and he said not really, the only thing is the building is gonna be demolished in late June we would have to do something by then....luckily I don't have to go out there....

17s are definitely the way to go if you want to maintain that quiet cushy Lexus ride. If and when I upgrade to an 05-06 I'd love to find one with 17s which might not be that easy.

That'd be further proof how small the world is.... Glad you're still working, sorry about the other folks. I work for the folks who advertise their soft drinks with polar bears at Xmas, and one of my coworkers used to work for the folks you work for, nearby here in CT...

I think this is the six degrees of separation, but we're in different aspects of something that is happening at a location....if you got an email from me at work in the last 5 min. (it's 14:33 EST), we know one another lol But if not, no.....

I have driven many many 17's and 18's and LS Sport and not. Prefer the 18's and Sport it is such a cushy car less cushy is best for me my 04 Sport drives real nice had zero problems besides wheel bearings. To me 04 or 06 still a pretty old car with very few changes from 04-06.
