Are you sure that the 04 that you're looking at has the smartkey option installed? That mileage wouldn't bother me as it might some. As for price, too many variables without seeing what it looks like. Everybody has their own opinion on what a car is worth so expect a range of answers...

The owner sent me a few pictures and told me that it has the smart key option and it is functioning properly.

You left out a few details:

-Is it salvaged or clean?
-Accident history?
-Full service records (not just word of mouth)?
-Rips/tears in the leather?
-Packages?
-Paint condition?

I mean...it's a lot of things that may weigh on what's considered "good value."

Clean title - clean carfax - no accident history - Full records that were verified by calling Lexus

Doesn't look like a bad pick up...don't know how much you paid for it but good luck.

Right price. Depending on the number of repairs needed you should be ok after all is done, Even if you end up owning the car for it's current value you are ahead of the game if the car is a well maintained and a non abused car.

Good buy.... Allocate about a $2500 maintenance/repair/mod budget and you will have a nice vehicle for the next 3-4 years or more..... No need for Nav as modern smart phones are better and even can be your infotainment platform (with several options to integrate with the on board audio).

yeah not a bad price at all if clean. Agree with the suggestions to set aside a few k for repairs near term, at that mileage things like suspension issues are likely to crop up.

Great price, good car. My current Cypress Pearl 04 has Nav, ML, rear shade, etc. I will not buy another LS w/ this package. The smart key is great Just posted the car for sale. I paid 13 last year. It is an excellent total dealer service car w/ 106 (everything that breaks is done) but I don't expect to get anything close. Next will be an 05-06 base or premium. Upgrade the sound system (w/ display and more iPhone use options). Agree on Nav. I've never used it and will not miss. Phone is much better.

Quick Reply: Good price for a 04 LS430 with 150k
