New rims for Lexus LS430 but what size?
Hey fellow Lexus owners! Ive gotten all my maintenance and work out of the way on my car and I now want to get some new wheels but concerned on fitment. Im actually also leaning towards keeping the LS430 sport wheels that are on the car but getting them repainted to get rid of scuffs and blemishes. At the same time im thinking of getting rims. LoL Ive been looking at the MRR Hr3 wheels. Whats the biggest size rim i can get without any suspension modifications? Or... should i just have the OEM rims repainted?

I think the 18 inch oem sport wheels look the best on these cars especially with stock suspension. If you go lower then 20s look awesome but on stock height they make it look like a 4x4.
ive thought about getting my 18 inch stock wheels powdercoated black next time i need tires.

I have 20x10 on the rear of mine with 275/30 tyres. They fit spot on but they need a little bit of camber (not too much) otherwise they'll rub just a little bit on the guards. Up front are 20x8.5 and they clear everything with no rubbing. The car is also lowered

Hey guys! Thanks for all the comments. I think Im going to have the OEM wheels powder coated. I think Im going to try and keep the look as original as possible. I WOULD like to maybe do more of a smoky color against the crystal whitle pearl (I think that's what it's called).

I'd been thinking about the same thing. I have an 01 LS430 on stock wheels right now. The wheels are kind of outdated and I think some now wheels would be just enough of a modern touch. Everywhere I look though I see 20's and I'm not sure if thats too large. I'm thinking maybe 19s or 18s on it (I think stock is 17?) Has anyone seen any 3rd gen LS430s around here with 18s or 19s on them?

glad I have 17's right now in the winter, I scuffed the curb this AM, and sure enough, it was only the tire. My summer 18's are scraped badly, but these snow tire 17" rims are mint...

Looks good! Frickin love the paint color with the wheels. Thanks for also confirming that I can have a bigger tire on this car and still keep that smoothness. Thats the compliment I always get from my friends

what's the deal with the offset as online there is a warning for 42 or higher. The irony is none of the rims 18" and larger fit this criteria, unless one drops down to 17", which is why 17" snows were a no brainer for me (unless you have an unlimited budget, some of the high end rims had 45)
