I never believed in black Friday, but I bought a 26" tool box that I already have, for $17.49 minus $5, free shipping, from Sears. Yesterday it was $29.99, and today it's $26.99. Also, a 11 piece metric socket with ratchet 1/4", for $3.99. Nothing to write home to mother about but kinda stupid deals I guess. I have every socket 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, and every ratchet incl Snap On already, so my buddy would argue that's not a bad deal on the $3.99, but you don't need it so you wasted $4 which could have been 3/4 of a cup of Starbucks....

You could just keep that new set in the trunk, and if you ever need a socket, you'll have what you need ready to go. That's what I do...

One can never have too many tools (the world according to me).....oddly I always grab this circa 2002 made in USA Craftsman 60 pic kit, a Snap On 1/2" ratchet (the old S936, my S80a is a museum piece), and 1/2" sockets, and maybe my 6-1 Channellock screwdriver, and I do most jobs....the others sit....

LOL do you do all car projects immediately but house repairs take weeks or months? Get nice car tools but avoid Home Depot for house tools? Use the "don't have the right tool" excuse for not being able to do/fix/replace the leaking/broken/worn out something or other?

Turns out the company i purchased them from wouldn't honor their price...
i won't mention the company's name because i am still trying to get my refund.
