I'm in the same boat, the LS430 is my beater. Only thing is I think she has a higher wholesale, than the car she's being a beater for, a 2007 335i 6-manual zsp....but that car is absolutely mint....the LS430 is in VGC imho....

To tell you the truth, having a LS430 as a DD aka beater, means that life is very good indeed...

Yea amen to that. Life could be much worse than having an LS as a daily. Mine has been through every season hot or cold and with tons of snow on the ground. Never left me stranded and still rides like shes new.

My first car (paid $700 for it in the early 90's) had rusted out fenders which I fixed using duct tape and Krylon white spray paint. I'd also be mixing up bondo every few months to try to stay ahead of the rear wheel wells falling out. Man have I come a long way....

Before i got the LS my beater was a 98 civic with 175k on it. I would have never got rid of it until an old woman t boned me at an intersection. I know where youre coming from lol.
