Default Two different muffs

I was reading that 04 gto's have two different mufflers and that's why they sound so great from the factory, so my autistic brain was wondering what would happen if I put and a hks muffler on one side and a greddy on the other. I googled and have found nothing would it sound terrible or awsome if anyone has any experience please chime in am really curious. Not just greddy and hks but any muffler mix and match combo.

Different mufflers would have different back pressure. That will surely effect performance.

I was thinking more along the lines of the straight through mufflers not like a stock and aftermarket, so to rephrase my question if i got two mufflers of the same style/type and put one on each side of the car what would it sound like

If they're the same type and style then there shouldn't be any differences. Do you have two mufflers that you want to put on your car by different aftermarket companies?

That makes sense, I was thinking of changing mines as well. I don't want raspy or the constant hum and cruising speed.
