Default Where do I get a center cap for Chrome wheels option?

I have 01 LS 430 UL with the chrome wheels and summer tires option. Yesterday I noticed the center cap on the rear driver wheel was not flush. Reaching down I touched it and to my surprise it fell out into my hand. It works with a three point wire that is bent between the three points and presses out to three plastic pieces on the interior of the cap. Two of the three are broken from age or improper installation when I got new tires. I haven't tried the Lexus dealer because I'm afraid they will say one of two things- I will have to buy the whole wheel or- it's unavailible... any ideas guys?

See if you can get the wire bent a little so it stays on hard. If you just want to replace it, I would go to ebay. Ebay is the best place for parts like that.

The plastic pieces inside the center cap broke completely. There is no longer anywhere for any measure of attachment.

Then, DEALER, or ebay. I bet it is a part available from the dealer at a large expense, if you can find one on ebay, it will be like 80+% less...

There are a lot of places on ebay that deal with totaled cars, they strip the good parts and list them on ebay.

On the bottom/back of the part, I would bet there is a part number, call the dealer and see how much, then do a search on the web/ebay.

good luck !

I recently bought two for my '02 from a seller on EBay and the price was in the low $20 as I recall. Sure beats the dealer price.
