Default Low Mileage LS Owners speak up..

Since we've had a few new LS's join the forum with low mileage, I thought we could start a low mileage thread.

I'm not sure what constitutes low mileage, though. My 2001 just turned 129K. In some circles, that could be considered "Low Mileage"....

The 2005, is sitting at 49K and I don't know when I'll hit 50K since it doesn't get driven too often.
So, I guess that's where I'm really going with this. Who here has that ridiculously low mileage, gets driven once a week garage queen?

I know Yohimbo just bought an 05 UL with 29K on it.

I'm sure there are others.

Cheers!

Not sure if mine would be considered low mileage. But, I purchased a 2006 ML in april with 61k on it. I currently have 62k. hahaha. And that is my daily.

Well, my 05 UL is not going to be a garage queen. I purchased it as a daily driver for our family, and unfortunately or not, we put miles on vehicles. Of course, that was one of the biggest selling points of the 430...long life and reliable transportation (in style, of course).

Bought '01 ML with 19K miles (CPO car) in 2003 > now has 267K+ miles
Bought '06 CL with 52K miles in 2013
Bought wife '05 CL (Moonlight Pearl / Ecru) with 51K miles a few months ago, now has 52K miles (mostly from driving it home from TN)
(The other '06 ML was bought in 2015 with 95K miles - TB/WP and impeccable dealer maintainance)

Same here. Although the 05' is low mileage, I'll drive it until the wheels fall off...

I have 112k on my '05. That's low'ish miles. I just scored a deal on a 2003 Ford Ranger with only 65k on it. The LS will get some rest now. I have a 80 mile round trip for work, I'll let the ranger do all those miles and save the LS for after work and weekends.

Bought the 04 with about 52K a few years ago.. now I think I'm up to 58k. Been a while since I looked at it.
Don't really use it much except for a couple of trips. Prefer the 98 as my daily with 214k on it.

Bought my 2005 brand new off the truck and it now has 51k. Every visit I make to the dealer, they try to buy it from me.

Daddykay, why do you prefer the 98 as your daily? Is it to avoid racking up miles on the 04 or does the 98 ride better?

Just like the look and ride of the 98-2000 better than the 04. You sit differently in them also.
I could sell the 04 and be happy with just the 98. So I do just prefer the 98.

The 04 does have the sport edition package so rides a bit firmer. But the 98 Diamond White pearl makes me smile every time I walk up to it in the parking lot when I leave work.

Thanks, Legender, and my apologies for addressing the wrong username. There's someone at work that parks their 2nd-gen LS400 in the van pool space. I always notice it walking into the office and always wonder who are part of that lucky group that carpools together in such an exquisite car.

I bought my Onyx Black 2003 LS430 in 2013 with 103k kilometers (64k miles) for under 12k CAD. Now has 139k kilometers (87k miles).

Had to do a few little things to it including:
- Replace Front and rear pads and rotors
- Replace both front ABS sensor electrical cables.
- New tires
- Front and rear lift supports
- Replace some tail light bulbs.
- Replace battery
- Replace front Y-pipe on exhaust

But overall an awesome car to drive. The motor is strong, the suspension easily absorbs the heavy punishment from the huge cracks and potholes in the Quebec roads. Also, its large passenger space and trunk is actually really good for kids.

Overall I am very happy to drive a luxury vehicle with the ownership costs of an economy car. I can see it being very hard to replace.
