Default Failing Alignment - need a rear camber kit - whats included?

Hey guys noob to the forum - I have an '01 LS430 w/ appx 264k miles - I've owned her for close to 10 years... I love this car but the age is starting to show. Recently failed an alignment due to the rear camber and was told to get a "rear camber kit" - I see Megan Racing kits on ebay for 2,4, and 6 piece kits but I don't know which I need nor did they specify when they told me I needed it... I see the two piece kits which say they adjust camber but if the 2 piece lower camber arm kit does this why would there be 4, and 6 piece kits...?

Also they reference lowering and racing and all that jazz but Im just wanting to get my OEM speck correct - Few more details - everything is stock, not lowered or raised standard base version on 16" wheels - all four tires are mismatched and used because im waiting to put my 4 new michelin primacy mxv4s on until after my alignment is good again... Suggestions welcomed i just want my baby to ride smooth again and know that she is riding true and straight... pls help

this is what i saw on ebay -

Those Megan arms are adjustable. LS430 factory rear camber arms are not adjustable. Lexus offers 3 OEM rear arms of different lengths that can be replaced into your LS depending upon camber spec adjustment needed. See https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls-...t-of-spec.html

When a Lexus dealer adjusts the rear camber, it's typically only with a different camber arm installed on one or both sides. Did a Lexus dealer check your alignment? The reason I ask is some CL members have had bad experiences with alignment measurements done at non-dealer locations. Personally, as far as alignment goes, I wouldn't go anywhere but the dealer for it.

Thanks Tom.. money was tight and I ended up going to the Pep Boys down the street from my house... I called and talked to my Lexus Service guy and he got me a part number and said that according to the last time I had been there at the dealership they noticed that the toe arm had bent and suggested i replace it - middle length toe arm is 446.5mm long part number 48740-50010 is what was suggested i get first before buying a whole camber kit. Gonna check it out and try to get it installed this coming week and see if it makes a difference. THEN Ill go back to THE LEXUS DEALERSHIP and NOT Pep Boys to get it aligned, lol. Hopefully this is all thats needed. Thanks again.

Question BTuck - what was the outcome?

What did you end up doing for your rear camber?

How much did it cost?

Did it get you the alignment specs you wanted?

My mechanic offered to buy the vehicle from me when he heard me mentioning that I wanted to make the move to the LS460. Got to the point where I either continued to have stuff pop up that i would need to pay for OR just make the switch to a new vehicle. I had the 430 for 11 years with close to 310k on it when it was sold. I ended up getting rid of it prior to repair. Presently have 2009 LS460. Bought used obviously, with 71k and not a problem in the last year + of ownership.
