In 1 Sentence: What (if anything) do you miss about your LS 430?
For those who converted from a 430 to the 460, is there anything you miss about the 430? Or has it been a transition where you never look back?

Thats why Lexus used timing belts for so long.

While I understand it is an owner maintenance issue, the fact is most cannot do it themselves and 1500-2500 dollars of maintenance work every 90k miles is ridiculous at worst and not palatable for most at best. That would be over 10 grand to maintain the belt and waterpump alone for a car to reach its longevity potential... hence lots of trashed LS400s out there, sadly.

Oh wait, there is one thing I miss. I miss those awesome hidden storage compartments under the front seats. Those things were absolutely the best. The 460 needed a few more hidden compartments. Or . . . maybe the 460 has them hidden so well, we haven't found them?

I'm not saying I preferred the chain, I understand why and I think it's a worthy trade off. I'm just telling you why they stuck with the belt for so long. The vast majority of buyers do not keep the car long enough to even change it once, let alone enough to change it to the tune of $10k.

LOL! Those spaces under the front seats are taken up by the fans used for ventilating the seats. I greatly appreciate the cooling feature on long drives.

Going off on a tangent here, but I am intrigued by the introduction of active noise cancellation systems in cars to reduce road (and engine?) noise. Has anyone been in vehicles with these features? Are they effective?

Having had all 3....the cars are very similar, the way people get all worked up comparing them is funny to me for that reason.
