may i know what al systems that is controlling .i heard it is not only managing tilit steering but all electronic functions conordinating .is it so ?

Nearly everything on the LS430 is controlled by dedicated ECU (Electronic Control Unit).

By "body control module", I believe you are referring to one of these ECU's.

Refer to the sketches below, please identify the ECU of interest, and I will try to give you some details on what functions it controls.

thank you very much.actually i work in middle east.my 430 is imported from usa.it has done some crack and changed from miles to km. thats done by the previous owner.now i am facing some problems with air suspension .several codes came up like
C1782-stop light switch signal does not change
C1783-door courtesy switch signal doesnot change
C1786-height control switch doesnot change
C1787-absorber control signal switch doesnot change
C1794-rt fron wheel speed circuit
C1797 engine current speed signal circuit
but there is no warning light of anything .but the suspension is stiff ride like in sprts mode.all others working normal

so i suspect they made some changes in the get away ecu or body ecu .body ecu is same as tilt steering ecu?.here the air suspension parts are very cheap from junk yard.so iam trying to maintain it.thank you for your attention.i would like to know what they could be done to change miles to km.
i read somehwere it can be reversed by body ecu eplacement or getaway ecu.

The LS430 has numerous programmable functions that you can customize - I've attached a listing of these customize function (SS004-01). Please refer to Page 9, Item 14. Unit Conversion, which allows you to select Miles or KM. Do a search for "Techstream" on this forum for details on how to change these settings.

I've also attached diagnostic and troubleshooting procedures for the DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) you have listed above. Hope they are helpful...

hai sir i tried all the ways possible by me to solve this codes .i tried swapping the abs module,suspension module and checked switches .but all seems to be ok.and again while on signal check again the same codes this is the link which i checked with a scan tool .anybody having any ideas?
