Default My goal is to own a 2004 ls430 in 2 years from today....

I use to have a 1991 ls400 and absolutely loved it, the power, the solid feel, the way it glided ever so smoothly. I felt a great deal of pride driving it. Almost like, "I have the best car around and nobody knows it." lol. I see on the forums a similar pride. I am now driving a 2000 camry with 170,000 miles which feels very solid, but would never put "luxury" in the same sentence as a Camry. It's a solid yet simple car. I originally tried out the 2004 ls430 years ago and went with the 2006 Infiniti M45 before gaining a headache. I try to not to regret my decisions. I am paying off debt, then saving the next 2 years to not only buy a 2004 ls430 ultra with less than 115,000 miles with cash, but also have some savings and start my own company. That is my goal. I wanted to put it on here for everyone to see. I want to look back and say, "I did what I said I'd do." Thanks for everyone on here who inspires me to one day experience the feeling every day of driving a car that is, for a lack of better words...."perfect".

Signing out until I actually own this amazing car on July 1st, 2018 at midnight.

Hey Matt, that's the right attitude but make sure you get your priorities straight. Starting your own company and making it successful and having cash in the bank is WAY more important than any fricking car will ever be. If you have to drive a 72 Ford Pinto with a grey primered door to make that happen then that's what you do.

Thank you Campusi! I appreciate it. You are right, gotta keep things in perspective. I guess in 2 years I'll be able to buy a 2004 ls430 for even cheaper but have to make sure the rest of my financial picture is in order. By that time, the ls430 with less than 100,000 miles (like the other poster said) will be in the 8-10k range. Or I'll find one with 60,000 miles on it for 14k. You never know.

And if you come back in here before and ask about parts to buy and put on your garage shelf, I will personally be here to talk you out of doing that BEFORE you buy the car!!!

Good luck with getting your house in order. Very important to do so. And then everything else in life will fall into place.

Thank you for the good wishes. Don't shoot me if I buy Lower control arm bushings or a rear an ML sub first
