I also bought two of the koyo bearings from the guy , Iit turns out only my left side was in need so i sold the other one.

They looked legit , came in the koyo packaging and my mechanic said it fit well also , so far it has cured my issue perfectly

But I want you guys to see something

I also ordered some Chinese brand bearings, and I want you to tell me if you can see which one is the real and which one is the fake

One is the Koyo and the other is a Chinese brand, both weight the same, look the same and feel the same..

One is stamped on the back with the Koyo tag and numbers, and the other is not

The one on the left looks like it has less machining performed and doesn't look as clean which I would assume means it is the Chinese.

The Koyo bearing is on right in the pics - I think. The bearing on the right has machined pieces squeezed together, and relies on the wheel bolts to hold it together; the one on the left is one-piece cast - weaker and more prone to crack.

So I ended up getting a new WJB wheel bearing from RockAuto under warranty (12 months) so we'll see how it goes. I don't have a lot of faith in these non OEM bearings at this point. YMMV
