The Koyo bearing is on right in the pics - I think. The bearing on the right has machined pieces squeezed together, and relies on the wheel bolts to hold it together; the one on the left is one-piece cast - weaker and more prone to crack.
The one on the left looks like it has less machining performed and doesn't look as clean which I would assume means it is the Chinese.

The left one is the chinese
Its built better then I thought, but the real test is how it performs , and that I am not sure of
Are you sure the part you got was not defective? Did you purchase the entire hub and not the bearing? Good luck and let us know how you make out with this repair.
So I ended up getting a new WJB wheel bearing from RockAuto under warranty (12 months) so we'll see how it goes. I don't have a lot of faith in these non OEM bearings at this point. YMMV
