Like it states. I know its an evap issue somewhere. It hasn't changed performance of the engine. The light just comes back on after 200 or so miles after I reset it.

I know this is for a different car but I found this thread and it's for a Lexus:

I was able to fix this issue by changing the gas cap. My issue was the check engine light and several of these vapor loss codes came up that are 0440,0441. I have had to replace a couple of the lexus gas caps. I went with a $10 autozone generic model that fits an ls 430. It seemed to have a better seal than the Lexus cap. So,the Lexus official cap may be below average. Just wanted to pass along. I was psyched for a cheap repair since I had just finished having to replace some major parts where spark plugs and fuel line come together.

I had to change the purge or vent valve (I forget what its called, but it is on the driver side of the engine tied into vacuum ports on the intake manifold. I removed original the vacuum switch and bench tested it by applying 12V and nothing happened. Problem solved after installing the new switch.
