Mobomer

Recently updated 2001 LS 430 with UL and ML from eBay to the Navigation DVD to Gen2/3 WEST, U08, dated 2013. The DB version is showing correctly at 13.1. However, the Search Area (i.e., geographic region) is grayed out as well as all of the Destination selections. The only available buttons are MAP and NEXT PAGE. Upon startup and acceptance, there is a long delay before the map comes up and the location marker is flashing. Audio, Climate and everything else works normally. Has anyone seen this and overcome the problem?
