Replacing plug sub assembly 69207L and 62908a
I had the body colored trim cap missing when I bought it, so I decided to replace it. The front door was easy, pop the old one off and pop the new one on. The rear ones are more involved.
I removed the door panel, plenty of write up on here about it,
then I peeled the plastic sheet back directly behind the door handle.
I unbolted the door lock accuator and door lock catch.

Next I wiggled the assembly down as far as I could, it's not attached to the handle, and it exposes this little gem

This is what holds the trim piece on

Everything goes together just the opposite as it came apart.
Be careful with the child safety lock switch, I didn't break it off, but I can see how it could happen. Once I got the door lock assembly pushed back up and bolted in place I tested the handle, worked great.
Wish it would have been as easy as the front door!!
