2004 LS430 Fender removal/replace tips
I've already tried searching through the forums for tips for DIY Fender removal and I have come up with nothing. If anyone here could help me out with some tips or a diagram would be greatly appreciated thank you

There are a total of 8 (i think) bolts that needs to be removed. Two on the top of the fender, one inside by the door (covered by a splash guard), two on the bottom (remove the front side skirt to access), and 3 on the inside of the fender by the headlight. The headlight should be removed to help with access to the bolts.

Just removed my fender to replace a front door. Here are the steps in a little more detail for anyone needing this info in the future :
1. Remove front bumper. Lots of screws, and several bolts, hold it in place.Several threads on bumper removal already.
2. Remove the headlight on the side of the fender you're trying to remove. (3 bolts)
3. There are 2 acorn nuts on top of the fender, very easy to see.
4. 3 bolts at the front of the fender behind the headlight
5. 2 bolts at the bottom rear of the fender, which require removal of the long plastic sill cover under the car, below the driver door (4-5 screws and two plastic plugs) as well as the lower plastic cladding on the fender (remove 2 screw inserts at the leading edge, then pull it off. It has some tough foam double-sided tape you'll need to pull apart).
6. Final bolt is at the top rear of the fender. Open the front door and look at the very top of the fender where it meets the A pillar. You'll see a black rubber cover. Do not try to remove the plugs holding this cover on, as they'll probably break. Instead, gently peel the very top of the trim downward. It will be compressed somewhat behind the fender, but you can finesse it out. You'll see the remaining bolt.
All bolts / nuts are 10mm an none are particularly tight. I used a 1/4" ratchet.
