Default Power adders for the ls

So does anybody sell stroker kits? lextreme does not sell performance products anymore and ttc performance or what ever it is is a complete rip off. I am looking for a 5.2 liter stroker kit also would the ls430 ecu be able to handle running the motor once there is a stroker kit or would i have to do a aem stand alone? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm almost positive there's no kit like that out there, and if there was, I simply wouldn't trust it as the aftermarket is just not developed on these engines.

Regardless, you'd just be a lot better off buying a newer faster LS460 that puts out nearly 100 more hp than throwing $10,000 at a project like that.

FWIW, there is someone here on the board that adapted a GM LSX V8, which is the direction I would go if you were determined to make a really wild project out of a car like this.

its not worth it and I haven't seen a kit like that yet.

Most purchase the Greddy supercharger kit, if their lucky, that floats around for sale here and there on the Japan auctions. That could be had for around $3-4k USD after conversion and shipping to the US.

Contact Brian Crower Inc and ask if they can make a kit up for you.

I'd suggest aftermarket ECU.

I thought about bc, ttc performance makes a 5.2 kit i think he goes by cowboybebop on this forum dudes a clown. Anyways i allready know i am gonna have to do a aem full stand alone i am gonna call STM and see if they would tune it for me. Just "butt benching" here but a 5.2 liter 3uz would be like 420hp 475-500ftlbs at the crank or does that sound to much? I also thought about the ls7 swap but its shrouded in secrecy like the female orgasm haha....i jest.

So if a stock 4.3 puts out 300hp, and you're enlarging it to 5.2 liters, that's about a 25% increase in displacement, so all things being equal, something like 75 more horsepower at the rear wheels?

And then you have to decide if the stock transmission can hold up to that?

I just feel like these projects never work out the way people want it to and there's always drivability issues, especially when it's a car like this that just doesn't have a following. Most everything would have to be custom.

I'd just be looking to sell what you have and buy a faster car that came with more power from the factory. 400hp flagship luxury cars are pretty much par for the course these days.

I have a Tom's Racing Supercharger kit from a JDM SC430 that will bolt on to your LS430. You will need a piggyback like Unichip or similar to run it as the ECU that came with it will likely not run a USDM LS430.
Let me know if you are interested. You can find details on the Tom's website.

Possibly how many miles on it, does it come with all "factory" items it does on the toms website? Also how much? I also just got a hold of bc and they will be giving me specs and price for a 5.2-5.4 liter stroker kit with everything shortly, any one interested?

I purchased an SC430 motor/tranny with the supercharger attached. I have since sold the motor but had all of the itens related to the supercharger carefully removed. Let me get some pictures up and a for sale thread.

I would be curious to know the cost of a stroker motor. Please post the information in this thread.

Oh hell yeah man i will definitely keep everyone posted all i seen on this forum is "what exhaust can i get to me x amount of hp" and then people usually freak out cause there's either $6000 or it needs to be custom haha. Also an idea does the 3uz have balance shafts if so could we eliminate them to free up some hp? Also i have been reading online that the 1/2 3uz motors use the same accessory pulleys as well as some 2jz parts any one verify or call bull**** ?

-----------UPDATE------------
Bc is going to mass produce the 4.7 stroker kit for the 3uz, also to switch the h beams to i beams its an additional $1200. I was told that that is the biggest kit they are going to make at this time so basically its a fuxken waste of time and money for $7000 and your better off building a custom turbo set up for $10,000 you could do a rear mount. I am gonna call and email a few friends one of whom is rip mods and see if i can get a 5.0-5.4 liter stroker kit made is any body interested at all, i could also see how much a rear mount turbo kit would cost also if any one is interested. If you are interested just chime in on this thread please.
