Hello all
I am new to this forum and was looking for anyone who may have ordered and replaced their LS 430's broken passenger side mirror with the aftermarket unit (sold from various sources online),
part# LX1321118. Generally less than $200 most places.
This aftermarket unit is the entire side mirror and housing (unpainted) w/o the auto dimming mirror.
Anyway, I've ordered one and looking for someone familiar with its installation procedure.

I ordered one from Rock Auto and my shop could not make it work. It does everything except swing open. If I manually open it, it closes when the car is turned off. I am thinking I will have to spring for the $500 Lexus OEM part from Lexus Parts Now.

Any hints on getting the non-Lexus part to work?

I ordered one before I had mine painted and they installed before painting. Works fine.
