Yes, the high rev over 8400 rpm is so sexy and it cut corners like go kart car.

Enjoy your new ride !
I almost switched my 2005 LS for a 2012 Jaguar last week, but just couldn't do it.

Yes, its a beautiful everything ..... interior and exterior and with a supercharged V8 and 400 hp ( I think ) the car really was damn fast and drove great. The Jag had only 30,000 miles and my LS has 180,000 but I like to fly under the radar and the LS does everything I need so perfectly.

Just love my LS !

As far as reliability, the LS and XJ8 are worlds apart...

You'll never get the mileage out of a Jag without putting serious money into it...

I too was looking at buying an XJ8, which I think look fantastic, but I was turned off by the maintenance issues they have.

I was looking a a ZF .... not an XJ8. Regardless, I agree long term the Jaguar would be a much more expensive car to own.

Agree Dap. Have the LS around as dd. However it's already a dinosaur in a Prius world. Auto technology is changing so fast that maybe an LS will have research value in a few years. It might be illegal to drive in CA (except in parades). LOL just kidding here. I really do like my LS. Nicest car I've ever owned.

Understood. I still think you made the better choice, but yes, you could always get the Jag for special occasions...

I'm back. Just picked up 1996 ls400 with 160k miles from the old couple with a thick folder of maintenance receipts as dd, btw I still have the m3 and still very involved with it since day one.

No surprise. Hard to resist the LS430/LS400 after having it for a while.
