Fair price?
Looking for a fair price on a 2001 LS430 - 1 owner with 51,000 miles. Past 1,000 miles it has gotten timing belt/ water pump service via lexus and MXV4's. No nav, no air suspension, just sunroof, heated seats, 6 disc.
No accidents, no flaws, garage kept and needs nothing. Has original book, records, all 3 keys and service history every 6-10 months at Lexus since 2001 (services done based on time, not miles). Showroom condition inside and out. Exterior is the very dark blue, and ivory interior.
Whats a fair price?
UPDATE: Listing for $10,500

Wow, that one sounds pretty nice. Knowing what I've paid for my two LS's, You'd be getting a deal anywhere below 9K. That kind of mileage and with a recent TB service, similar cars will be in the 9-10K range around here

He's probably going to want $10k-$11k for it which would be "fair".
It's not something I would be interested in, but the average LS of that era goes for like $7k, so add a few grand for the super low miles and the fact that the timing belt job was already done, brand new Michelins etc.
You just have to be prepared to over pay for cars like that if you really want it.

A quick look at Autotrader finds over 100 2001s for sale ranging from $14K down to $5K or so.
None as low as 51,000 miles but condition and maintenance are more important than mileage.
Most of the ones listed are from dealers so a private seller will need to be lower. I agree that a $10-11K price is "fair" maybe for the seller but for the buyer $10K is likely the max. If you really want the car then it will be up to you to decide what is fair....

I actually had a hard time finding a non-NAV in 2004-2006 when searching for my car. Not only does the NAV look outdated but the failure rate is becoming more common on these with the screens just going black and needing fixed or replaced. Once the screen goes dead you also lose access to your climate controls.
Finding a non-nav also makes it easier to upgrade to a aftermarket unit and cleaner install.

Well the LS is mine. I am weighing my options on selling it.
I drive a short commute lately, and have the opportunity to get a low low mileage Z06 Corvette. Between the fiances 4runner, the LS and a vette we would have 1 too many vehicles. I really love the LS so trying to justify keeping it
