I find the 16 inch tires on my 02 LS to be way more comfortable than my 05 LS with 18 inch tires. It's like riding on a cloud sometimes.

I think 17 inch wheels would be a nice balance as far as looks and comfort go.

Thank you, Kira X. Do you find the ride floaty with the 16s? I would like a comfortable ride but not too floaty either.

Interesting. I've got an 04 Sport w/ 17's and new Michelin Premiers. They are soft tires and def feel like it when cornering hard. Even with soft tires tho, the car feels more connected to the road. Handling is better than the Base. I've got the original 18's and was thinking about buying Michelin Pilot Super Sports. They are supposed to be quiet on the freeway but handle better. I'd appreciate details on what tire you had on the 18s and how the overall ride felt.

I'm sure you saw the difference when you had to buy new 17" tires vs 16" tires.

Agree. Changed from 18s to 17s. Right now, It is a nice balance. I am going to experiment w/ different tires on the 18s and see if I can get the same experience.
