Hi All

I just bought my 2nd LS a mk2 430 I must say it is fantastic! Hands down it is far better than my much younger Audi A8. I have a issue withe the audios system which as always said No Audio. Nad us completly dead the facia on the dash for the cd radio taoe deck doesn't even illuminate..have heard it is the amplifier in the boot which needs switching but will it's lack of operation completely knock out the audio system of the car I wanted to make sure prior to shelling out £300- £500 for a recon from eBay. Can anyone help?

t6he fuse for the amp./ is intheright side kick panel. its the only one that blue on my car 309000 miles. It blue case the amp had fried. good luck,, paul

It looks like my amplifier is fried as I checked the fuses and they're all ok do you think it has something to do with the parking sensors?

I chkd fuse first.. Went to amp. opened it up and seen the capacitors had overheated and were puffed up.. Not wanting to spend 750 to get it repaired went to e-bay annd got one from an 06model @375. The screen lit up with all the audio selections but no gps. Fuse was ok. so e-bay again. So all is working fine as new. I dont know about parking systems. But I see a new thread posted about ML sound systems. Good luck with it... Ijust last week had belts and pump and starter and alternator chaned the oil. @ 309000 miles its still beautiful and great riding car. It was a gift from my son who was sure I needed somethingto do.. I did!

So you replaced the amp with an Ebay one and still had problems? Also how much did the new belt and pump cost ya?

E-BAY FOR A ghps UNIT 400$ . nOW ALL AUDIO ml SYSTEM gps IS ALSO AUDIO. aLT @ STARTER AND BELT @ PUMP ETC. ALL FROM ON Amazon. labor for belt etc. was about 400 all labor was bill;ed at 80/HR at Blanchard~s Quality Car Care in Gonzales, La. ASE Certified Master Tech. Great guy He has had the service on the car 12 yrs. that my son owned it... Now all thats left is bum left mirror & left rear door hinge problem. Thats it

had the same issue on met 2004.... I pulled the amp and sent it to repair shop in NY. Was like 400 for the repair. I think it was united audio.

So none of your door speakers worked but you still had sound from subwoofer/dash tweeters?

Sorry did see that in your post...NO i had no sound at all..
